AKA Cashel's Eye of the Tiger
Tiger came to DreamCatchers in January 2009 after his original rescuers, the Epona Project of Castle Rock, CO, suffered the loss of one of their founding members and were unable
to continue operations.
Tiger has health issues and needs a special diet due to advanced melanoma's that partially blocked his anus and make him prone to impactions and colic.
He is also a stallion and cannot be gelded, partly due to his advanced age, 28 presently, and his melanoma's that could metastasize if disturbed by surgery.
Tiger was once a famous breeding stallion whose sire was even used as a model for a Breyer Horse. He has many offspring that have achieved greatness in the show arenas as he did himself.
Tiger's former owner fell very ill and was unable to care for Tiger.
Now at 28, Tiger is a permanent resident at DreamCatchers with his own enclosure in the "Old Fart" area, and he loves his fellow old farts as well as the frequent visits from volunteers who just love this old guy.
He also loves his daily walks with Paul, who lets Tiger just be himself while entertaining the crowds with his antics.
